Melaleuca Mountain Chalets offers that perfect mountain hideaway with fully self-contained luxury chalets. Situated high on the Central Ranges, Melaleuca experiences four distinct seasons; providing summer relief, magnificent autumn colours, beautiful winter snowfalls and spring freshness.

We are centrally located to many attractions, including the famous Jenolan Caves and Kanangra Boyd National Park, and is only a five minute drive from the township of Oberon.

Other activities within the immediate area include great trout fishing, horse riding through magnificent pine forests, golf with the kangaroos, gem fossicking and much more.

All chalets are constructed from Cypress timber featuring cathedral ceilings, exposed beams, polished timber floors and a log fire to create a warm cosy atmosphere.

There are several types of chalets to choose from including:

* Deluxe Loft - This spacious Deluxe Loft is comfortable and spacious. It is composed of a loft bedroom upstairs, a large living area with a log fireplace and a bathroom with a luxurious double spa bath and a separate shower downstairs

* Deluxe Romantic Suite - Treat yourselves to peace, seclusion and rediscover romance. This Suite is nestled in amongst the tall trees allowing leafy views from every window with luxurious double spa baths. Watch TV or gaze at the log fire from the comfort of your King sized bed.

* Deluxe Studio Chalet- provide the perfect mountain hideaway, specifically tailored for couples. Escape the pressures of your busy world and pamper yourself in the luxurious double spa bath. Sit back, relax, watch your favourite video or gaze at the log fire.

Getting There
- From Sydney
Take the M4 Motorway and Great Western Highway up the Mountains and travel past Katoomba, Blackheath and Mt Victoria (or take the M2 and the Bells Line of Road out through Richmond and Windsor to Mt Victoria). Continue down Mt Victoria pass and through Little Hartley.

Just after Little Hartley, turn left onto the Jenolan Caves Road. Continue on for approximately 20 km and pass through the small town of Hampton.
About 4 km past Hampton, turn right onto Duckmaloi Road (at this intersection there is a sign pointing right to Oberon). Melaleuca is approximately 16 km from this turn off on the right hand side just as you come over the brow of a hill approx 9.5 km before Oberon.

It takes approx 25 minutes to travel from Melaleuca to Jenolan Caves via Oberon.
