Overview
McNevins Tamworth Motel offers 23 clean and spacious rooms with comfortable furnishings, and is set on 3.5 acres of landscaped gardens just 6 kms North of Tamworth CBD. We have a wide range of accommodation available, including king rooms which have recently been refurbished,queen rooms and our spacious family units. We also provide free-of-charge AUSTAR satellite television in all rooms & free internet.

Our Restaurant 999 provides modern cuisine, including childrens' and vegetarian meals, in a relaxed atmosphere. Room service is also available.

For the children we have a games room with a pool table and table tennis. We also have a lovely swimming pool where you can relax and soak up the sun or enjoy a fun game of pool volleyball.

You can relax on the sundeck surrounded by ferns & greenery overlooking our beautiful rose garden and enjoy the sunsets. There is certainly no better place to be mesmerised by the starry nights.

McNevins Tamworth Motel specialises in accommodating groups of all kinds, from sporting groups, bus tours and wedding parties. Our range of accommodation options includes 16 standard rooms that can accommodate up to 5 people each, through to 2 bedroom units that can sleep up to 8.

One room has a covered pet enclosure adjacent, which is very large, safe and comfortable. The enclosure contains an outdoor setting so you can relax with your pet. As we are on 3.5 acres there is plenty of room to exercise your pet after a long drive. Please note pets are not permitted in any of our rooms due to health regulations. Our country setting also includes a fenced 1/4 acre horse paddock, to assist those travelling long distances to events and shows.

Our beautiful garden gazebo and high top marquee create the perfect venue for garden weddings and special events.

We are situated 6kms on the northern side of Tamworth about 5 minutes from the heart of town. Follow the signs to Armidale and follow the New England Highway and you will find us on the right hand side heading north in the village of Nemingha.
