The family owned and operated motel located within the heart of the world renowned wine region of Mclaren Vale. With 25 modern and spacious 3.5 To 4 star ground floor units & 12 New 4.5 star Deluxe studios set in a tropical garden setting the motel offers romantic, comfortable and quiet suites where you can bath, shower or relax together.
The motel is located 39 kilometres south of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. The area enjoys a Mediterranean type climate, being situated between the southern Mt. Lofty Ranges and the sea. These conditions are ideal for the production of the world class wines produced in the area.
Most units have Queen size beds and most Deluxe rooms with King size beds, remote control 106cm LCD colour television, VHS video/DVD, fridge, reverse cycle air-conditioning, electric blankets, microwave ovens, toaster, tea/coffee/milo making facilities, hair dryers, iron and ironing board, direct dial phones with Internet connection points and parking at the door. The six refurbished executive suites have King beds, spas and his and hers showers.
An inground saltwater sola heated pool with adjacent BBQ area which can be enclosed for wind protection and Surrounded by palms and sun lounges.
Two disabled rooms are also available with ramps, handrails, showers on a hose, remote televisions and lots of room, these suites are great for someone in a wheelchair or the frail or older person.
Palm Court is the place to be at sunset. Sit in comfort with your partner and a bottle of wine, surrounded by tropical palms under sails, and watch the sun setting over the vines.
The alfresco area by the central fountain, is bordered by roses, and makes a beautiful spot to relax with a cappuccino or have your breakfast delivered.
Fancy some lunch or dinner? There are many fine restaurant's and cafe's within walking distance, 5 of which are within 700 metres. No need to worry about drinking and driving!

Getting There
The McLaren Vale Motel Cnr Main Rd & Caffrey St McLaren Vale
By Car - Directions from the Adelaide CBD Exit the city via ANZAC Highway (A5) and turn left onto Main South Road (A13). Follow Main South Road (A13) until (**see Southern Expressway) you see another overhead sign at Old Noarlunga you will then via Left onto Victor Harbor Rd for approx 7km when you see a sign to turn left into Main Rd McLaren Vale, drive past the McLaren Vale & Fleurieu Visitior Centre (on your left) and the McLaren Vale Motel is the Next turn Right.
** Southern Expressway (M2) If the Southern Expressway (M2) is open (reversible freeway) take this right turn off and take the freeway to the end. This will take you direct to Old Noarlunga.

By Train & Bus Trains depart the Adelaide Railway Station (on North Tce) for Noarlunga Centre every 25 minutes (Mon - Sat) and every 30 minutes (Sun). Take the Noarlunga Centre line train and get off at the last stop, Noarlunga Centre.
Catch the Southlink Coach Route 751 (5 return trips Mon - Fri) to McLaren Vale and step off at the McLaren Vale Visitors Centre stop. The Motel is then a short walk south and is located at the next corner on the right hand side of Main Rd.

By Coach Premier Stateliner Coaches depart the Adelaide Central Bus Station (111 Franklin St, Adelaide) for McLaren Vale (4 return trips Mon - Fri, 2 on a Sat and 1 on Sun). Contact Premier Stateliner for a timetable.
By Bicycle A bicycle track runs parallel to the Southern Expressway from Bedford Park to the McLaren Vale Visitors Centre. From the Centre it is a short ride down Main St to the motel located at the next corner on the right hand side of Main Rd.
