Overview
The Sunshine Coast’s only award winning three star holiday resort, Maroochy River Resort and Bungalows has the perfect location for discovering all the region has to offer or just relaxing with family and friends by the water

Set amongst 8 acres of lush tropical gardens, the one and two bedroom self-contained bungalows each have a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living areas and main bedroom. All have a balcony, TV/DVD, ceiling fans and some also have air conditioning and/or water views. Many of the cabins are set in clusters around communal outdoor entertainment areas and are well suited to travelling groups, sporting clubs and informal weddings.

With a boat ramp onsite, the Maroochy River system is easily accessible and the sheltered waters of Eudlo Creek are perfect for families to enjoy water sports. The resort has a range of kayaks, stand up paddleboards, water bikes and canoes for hire while the pontoon is perfect for throwing in a fishing line. Alternatively sit back and relax on a sun lounge while the kids have fun on the sand.

Guest facilities include a Wi-Fi hotspot, tennis courts, swimming pool, laundry facilities and communal BBQ areas. The well-equipped resort store has a range of grocery and fishing supplies, and our knowledgeable team can assist with information on the areas tours and attractions. Within the local vicinity there are a range of tour operators offering sailing, boat cruises, jet-ski hire and fishing trips and most will pick up from the resort.

Maroochy River Resort and Bungalows is just 5km from several patrolled surf beaches and a 20 - 30 minute drive to Noosa, Caloundra and the famous Eumundi markets. Maroochydore and Mooloolaba are a quick 10-minute drive. For those travelling without a car, there is a bus stop 400m from the resort and several local RSL’s and surf clubs have courtesy vans that service the area.

The resort is easily accessible with the Sunshine Coast Airport a 5-minute drive away and Brisbane Airport 100km to the south.

The Sunshine Coast is a great stop on the way to Fraser Island, with its famous dunes, fresh water lakes and cultural heritage. Alternatively stay in the area and get to know Australia’s famous critters at Australia Zoo or learn to surf at one of many pristine beaches in the area. From the hinterland to the coast, the many small towns that make up the Sunshine Coast truly have something to offer every visitor.

Getting There
We are located off David Low Way between Maroochydore and Bli Bli, across the water from the Waterfront Hotel. Nearest cross street: Fishermans Rd.

For those participating in sporting events such as netball, soccer, basketball etc at the Fishermans Road sporting facility we are within walking distance.

By taxi...
From the heart of Maroochydore it is a 5 minute ride in a taxi and costing less than $10 during the day. From Nambour it is a 10 minute ride costing less than $20 during the day.

By Bus...
The bus stop for the local Maroochydore / Bli Bli bus service is located approximately 400 metres from the complex. The service runs every hour in each direction. Services terminate at Noosa, Nambour and Maroochydore.

By Car...

Driving from north or south on the Sunshine Coast it is easiest to get onto the Sunshine Motorway and head towards Maroochydore. Take the Bli Bli Exit and follow the signs towards Bli Bli. Approximately 1.5km along turn in at BWS / Waterfront Hotel and follow the signs to Maroochy River Resort & Bungalows.

By Air...
....From Maroochydore Airport take the Airport Bus Service direct to our door in approximately 10 minutes.
....From Brisbane Airport take the SunAir bus service direct to our door in approximately 1.5 hours. Cost less than $40.

Parking Info
Free open communal area parking is available for cars & trailers - byo trailer locks. Access to a locked trailer yard is available for a fee.
