Getting There
By Road From Sydney follow the Pacific Highway north. It is a 4? hour drive to Port Macquarie. From Brisbane, it is a seven hour drive south. The Oxley Highway, over the Great Dividing Range, provides access from Tamworth and Western New South Wales.
By Rail The XPT train service between Sydney and Brisbane stops at Wauchope for passengers visiting Port Macquarie.
By Air Port Macquarie is serviced by regular Qantaslink and Brindabella Airline Flights. Flying time is 1 hour from Sydney and 1? hours from Brisbane.
