Peacefully nestled down a short country lane minutes from the award winning wineries & restaurants of the Hunter Valley , the premier wine region of Australia is your own private self-contained house that can sleep up to 10 people.

Your holiday house is situated on 28 acres of rolling farmland thru which winds the " Royal Lovedale Golf Course " which you can play as often as you like for free .

Your own cottage features cathedral ceilings, antique lead-light windows, wide verandahs front and back, a well appointed kitchen (dishwasher , gas hotplates, full size fridge, and microwave), free cable / foxtel TV , indoor wifi, tennis court, indoor swimming pool heated to 30 deg.C for year round swimming , spas ,mini golf, 10 pin bowling, DVD and CD player, airconditioning, undercover barbecue and undercover parking.

Choose your breakfast from the huge hamper provided upon your arrival only . This includes bacon, eggs, tea, coffee, plunger coffee, fruit juice, bread, cereals, marg , jam & condiments or just a coffee or tea on the veranda listening to the birdsongs from the Werekate National Park only 70 metres from your door. If you need more provisions Supermarkets are only 10 minutes away.

Enjoy a chukka of tennis or a round of golf, a dip in the pool then a bushwalk or walk to the wineries & restaurants 15 minutes away for wine tasting & lunch followed by a spa, massage, siesta then dinner in one of the 30 award winning restaurants dotted among the 130 wineries nearby.

Getting There
From Sydney:
1. Take the Newcastle expressway ( F3 ),
travel approx. one hour, take the Freemans Drive -Cessnock/Kurri/Kurri exit from the freeway. ( Ignore the 2 Cessnock scenic drive signs unless you have time a scenic drive )

2. Turn Left down Lake Rd to Cessnock & turn right at the lights(Vincent Street).
At the end of Vincent Street turn left, then immediately right into Wine country Drive (Allandale road )

3. Travel 5.3kms and turn right into Lovedale Rd
4. Travel 3.5kms turn right into Brickmans Lane. The lane is 100m PAST the green Brickmans Lane sign
5. Lovedale Cottages is at the end of the lane on the left PAST Lovedale Country Lodge
6 . Find your name on the noticeboard as you enter, follow the signs to your cottage & go in..keys in door
Checkin is AFTER 2pm please

NB.. If you need Coles or Woolies turn Left down Cooper St which is the 2nd set of lights you come to on Vincent St. Both have Bottle Shops!!
