Limpinwood Lodge is 2008 & 2009 Bex Award Winners which offer luxury Chalet accommodation and is AAA rated 4½ Stars. Nestled in the lovely Limpinwood Valley between the townships of Tyalgum & Chillingham, just 40 mins from Coolangatta airport, 50 mins from Byron Bay & 20 mins west of the township of Murwillumbah.

Luxury, self contained, accommodation for couples wanting to relax, unwind and leave the hustle & bustle behind them giving you the privacy, peace & serenity that you are looking for & a decanter of port & chocolates to enjoy whilst watching the sun set or the stars coming out at night.

We have three private chalets, each very different outlooks of Valley & Rainforest views. They are ideal for a romantic escape or for a special tailored honeymoon packages to remember with rose petals & candles.

The chalets are self-contained with fully equipped kitchens with fridge, microwave, gas jets, all utensils needed, oil, condiments,dishwashing products & dishwasher.

Luxurious king size bed, quality cotton linen, towels, bed side tables & lamps,electric blankets in winter, overhead fans, fluffy gowns & slippers are there for your convenience.

Bathroom has double showers, double vanities, except for the Rainforest Chalet, Hairdryer, Shampoo, conditioner, liquid hand soap, hand lotion, body soap are all supplied. Separate toilet attached to the bathroom.

Reverse cyle air conditioners, wood fires, with extra wood supply stored undercover next to the Chalets.

TV, DVD, CD, Austar, with CDs, Movies & DVDs for your viewing.

Undercover BBQ's are situated on the balconies for those who want to do their own thing.

Two person intimate spa's are also under cover on the balconies & products for the spa are included for use.

Continental breakfast is supplied which includes a selection of four cereals, milk, juice, butter, spreads, plunger coffee, instant coffee, a selection of teas, free range eggs with freshly home baked bread will be delivered to your Chalet in the mornings.

Home cooked evening meals for those wanting to be spoilt can be supplied at an additional cost,
Mains: Rack of Lamb with vegetables, Atlantic Salmon with fresh asparagus, Thai Beef Salad, Tandori Chicken & Vegetarian meals if required.
Sweets: Sticky Date Pudding with Butterscotch Sauce, Creme Caramel, Mini Pavlova, & Apple Crumble just to name a few, all meals need to be ordered at time of booking as we use fresh produce & some from our own garden.
All main meals need to be the same for both persons & are served in the comfort of your Chalet.

BBQ packs & salad can be supplied with notice.

Massages & spa treatments can be enjoyed in the privacy of your Chalet, these need to be booked prior to arrival & paid diectly to Limpinwood Lodge.

Limpinwood Lodge is for couples only, children & pets are not catered for.

Our property is shared with a variety of wildlife including, Bandicoots, Echidnas, Wallabies, & a wide variety of bird life, & of course our two Alpacas, Max & Jake.

We are located in the beautiful Tweed Valley in the heart of the Caldera, the worlds largest extinct volcano crater & surrounded by World Heritage Listed National Parks, Rainforests & unspoilt natural ladscapes.

Many tourist drives encompass the surrounding country areas & historic townships & it is like stepping back in time.
Travel to local townships of Uki, Mullumbimbi, Kyogle, Nimbin just to name a few.

Tyalgum Village hosts many events during the year like the popular Classical Music Festival in September & Diggers Town Fair & Rodeo, which is not to be missed something for everyone.

Getting There
From the Pacific Highway take the Tweed Valley Way turn off to Murwillumbah, then turn right at the town centre turn at the roundabout & drive straight through the town to the give way at Byangum Road.
Turn left into the Byangum Road & follow for 6.4klm, you will come to a T intersection,where you turn left into Numbinbah Road & keep following for 8.8klm past the Minature Horse Stud till you come to the small township of Chillingham.(pass the fruit shop & General store on your right)till you come to the bridge, go over the bridge & turn right into Zara Road. Go 5.31klm & we are on the left you will see our white picket fence, drive up the driveway to the office.
Limpinwood Lodge is located 45 minutes from Gold Coast Airport & approx. 2 hours from Brisbane & is accessible by car.
