Overview
Only a 90-minute drive from Sydney, the Country's Gateway, Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa is regarded as an unforgettable experience and has quickly established a reputation as Australia's finest boutique getaway. This reputation is resonated through the many national and international accolades received by Lilianfels such as ‘Regional Property of the Year’ at the by HM Magazine Awards, 2009, Darley’s Restaurant awarded ‘Best Regional Restaurant’ at the SMH Good Food awards, 2009 and voted ‘4th Best Leisure Hotel in Australasia and the South Pacific’ at the UK Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Travel Awards, 2007.
Lilianfels sits adjacent to the Three Sisters, which are located in the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains National Park. The Three Sisters symbolise the stature and pride of the Blue Mountains - towering escarpments, wide, deep, blue-hazed valleys, incomparable views and impenetrable depths. They are awe inspiring.
The historic home 'Lilianfels', built in 1889, has been transformed to its original splendour and now houses the award-winning restaurant Darley's, named after the original owner. Set in two acres of English-style gardens, the adjoining 86 room Country House, opened in 1992, has been designed in line with the architecture of the heritage home, offering all the facilities and comforts of a world-class retreat.
The only officially rated five star hotel in the Blue Mountains.
