Welcome to Le Petit Palais Villas located at Thirlmere, New South Wales (near Picton and the Southern Highlands).

Le Petit Palais is the "place to go when you can't get to France", a place to enjoy nature and nurture, a place to reconnect with loved ones, a place to simply enjoy French ambience!

Le Petit Palais currently has two private, french provincial villas situated on 12 acres of serene bushland, a short stroll to 'World Heritage' Thirlmere Lakes National Park, Thirlmere Rail Heritage Centre, 20 to 30 mins to the Southern Highlands (Mittagong, Bowral) and the beautiful beaches of Wollongong.

Extremely romantic, for special occasions with a loved one, wonderful for wedding nights, anniversaries and birthday celebrations.

Getting There
Le Petit Palais is approximately one hour's drive along the M5 from Sydney Airport.

Two hours drive from Newcastle on the M7 then M5, 40 minutes from Wollongong along Picton Road, 30 minutes from Bowral and
just over two hours from Canberra.

From Sydney take the M5 south (one hour from the airport), exit at Picton Road (Wilton). Turn right. Travel 10 mins to Picton township, go as far as you can go, turn left at the 'T' junction onto Argyle Street. Go past the George IV Hotel on your left and Barkers Lodge Road on your right, go
under the rail viaduct, up the hill and down the other side, and take the Thirlmere way turnoff on your right. Travel for five km, past the Queen Victoria hospital on your left, go through the first roundabout at Stonequarry, travel to next roundabout and turn right over the railway crossing. Take the first left into Barbour St and travel approximately one km to Michell Rd on your right hand side. (One street before the sign to Thirlmere Lakes National park). Turn right into Michell Rd, travel along, vere to the right, up the hill and look out for a sign on the gate, Le Petit Palais three quarters of the way up the hill on your right hand side.

Coming from the south, take the exit from the M5 at the Colovale turnoff on the left, just past Braemer, Mittagong. Travel along until you reach Wilson Drive on your right hand side. Take Wilson Drive on your right and travel for 20 mins past the villages of Hilltop, Balmoral, Buxton. You will then come to a large sign on your left which says Thirlmere Lakes National Park. Le Petit Palais is in the next street, named Michell Rd. Look for the sign, Le Petit Palais, 150 Michell Rd, which will be half way up the hill on the right hand side.

Be mindful of the kangaroos, there are plenty, particularly at dusk!!
