Overview
If you are looking for intimacy, romance and privacy OR family or group accommodation, Kelly and Wright Luxury Accommodation offers it all with 3 cottages Kelly House , Wright House and Pickett Cottage. Each bedroom boasts an ensuite that compliments our guest rating at predominately 5 stars. Catering for one couple through to 20 guests, Kelly and Wright & Pickett each offer that little bit extra with wood fires (Kelly & Wright only), air conditioning, dishwashers ,large TV & dvd , mixing old world colonial charm with the modern luxuries and comfort that remain a highlight in your memory after you leave.

They are less than 70 metres to shops and restaurants and set amongst 150 year old poplars on the banks of Spring Creek.

The environment has been included in the planning stage of the property offering solar hot water and solar grid connected electricity and tank water to garden and toilets.

The property also offers plenty of history. It was the site of the Imperial Hotel where on the 8th August 1874 our renowned Australian outlaw Ned Kelly at age 19 took on Isaiah "Wild" Wright aged 25 in a 20 round bare fisted fight where Wright who was the local tough guy was quoted as saying, (referring to Ned) "He gave me the hiding of my life". The fight was over Ned having served 3 years prison for being unknowingly in possession of a horse that Wright had stolen. Wright only got an 18 month sentence.

KELLY HOUSE offers three queen bedrooms and three ensuites with two spa suites. Available also is a sofa bed with a fourth toilet/powder room. Sleeps a total of eight (4 couples).

WRIGHT HOUSE offers two queen bedrooms with two ensuites with one large spa suite. Each bedroom also offers a single bed. Available also is a sofa bed that shares one ensuite as a semi ensuite. Sleeps eight (three couples and two singles).

PICKETT COTTAGE offers one queen bedroom with spa suite and sep shower & toilet. Available also is a sofa bed to the lounge area OR alternatively 2 singles trundles can be set up for 2 children or 2 extra adults. Located right in town with undercover parking. Sleeps total of 4.

Getting There
Beechworth is in North East Victoria, approximately 30 minutes south of Albury/Wodonga and 30 minutes north/east of Wangaratta. Kelly and Wright Luxury Accommodation is at 56 High St, five properties from Camp St. (The Nicholas Hotel is on the corner of Camp St and High St).

You will be provided with a Google map link upon booking.

Parking Info
Each cottage provides an allocated off-street parking area. There are two spaces each for Kelly and Wright and one space for Pickett.
