Getting There
Bus and train services available. Trains depart from Melbourne Southern Cross to Woodend, Ballan and Ballarat, where you take the bus to Daylesford. Approximate travel time is two hours.

To drive by car from Melbourne is approximately 115km. When coming by car, there are two ways you can come.

The first option is to take the Calder Highway to Woodend and then take the road to Trentham. Just before you reach Trentham turn right onto the C317 road to travel to Daylesford.

The second option is to take the Western Highway to the turnoff on the western side of Ballan. Here you turn right onto the C141 road to travel to Daylesford.

The nearest airport is Melbourne Tullamarine, Although Avalon Airport is not too much further.
