Hunter Homestead is furnished to create a relaxed & intimate atmosphere, the perfect place for a family reunion or gathering of friends.
Situated on 20 acres of some of the prettiest country in the Hunter,surrounded by olive groves & vineyards, with breathtaking views across the valley, and less than 2 hours drive North of Sydney.
Sit on the verandah in the tranquil bush setting with a glass of wine in hand & watch a glorious sunset over the Brokenback Range.
Take a stroll through the olive grove, breath the fresh air, unwind relax enjoy the space, feel the tension slip away, great way to recharge your batteries away from the hustle & bustle of city life.
We are close to all the Hunter has to offer including wineries, restaurants, hot air ballooning, golf courses, horse riding, beautiful gardens & more. Do everything, do nothing, the choice is yours.

"Homestead" (sleeps 6-12 persons)
The "Homestead' is a charming fully self-contained comfortable two story house with 3 double bedrooms, one twin bedroom with double sofa-bed guest room, 2 bathrooms 3 toilets, lounge with double sofa-bed. Fully equipped gourmet kitchen, dining room seats 10-12. Large covered outdoor entertaining area with BBQ.
"Cottage" (sleeps 2-6 persons)
The "Cottage" is a delightful self-contained 2 double bedroom cottage, lounge with double sofa-bed, with a lovely cosy country feeling for you to enjoy.For your convenience there is a covered outdoor eating & entertaining area with BBQ.
Hunter Homestead provides all your creature comforts, soft fluffy towells, crisp white linen, crockery, cookware etc., including provisions in frig for one big country breakfast the day you arrive, for you to prepare at your leisure.
Port-a-cot available on request, at no charge if you bring your own linen for cot.

Getting There
Take the F3 Freeway out of Sydney & head for Newcastle.
After approx 1 hours travel take Cessnock exit.
When at Cessnock turn right into Vincent Street, at end of Vincent Street, turn left at lights then immediately right at next lights into Allandale Road, follow this (it becomes Wine Country Drive), continue along until you see Lovedale Road, turn right into Lovedale Road. Follow this approx 9 klms to Camp Road,turn left here, then left immediately into Talga Road.
Call at office to collect your keys.
