Hidden in the Hunchy Valley just 2km from Montville village, Hunchy Hideaway has five self-contained cottages in a delightful rainforest setting. Each cottage is located to ensure privacy, with elevated private walkways up off the forest floor, bringing nature to your door and spiriting you toward your own secluded hideaway. Light the fire, slip into the double spa, surround yourself with candles and forget the world.

Designed especially for couples who want a romantic getaway, each cottage has its own double spa and wood fire, a private veranda with BBQ, and a fully equipped kitchen. You can enjoy our generous breakfast hamper included in the tariff, and a bacon and eggs platter with all the trimmings.

Indulge yourself in the privacy of your cottage with a massage or facial from professional masseurs. This is a place to truly relax and rejuvenate.

Wake up to the sound of birds or feed the possums on your veranda. Follow the trail down the hill to our own private waterfall or go out and explore the many walking trails around the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Many extras are available on request. In house therapeutic and relaxation massages, delicious BBQ platters, fresh seafood platters and cheese platters can be arranged with 24 hours notice. Honeymoon or pamper packages can be tailor made for you. Rose petal hearts for those special occasions can be arranged with at least one weeks??? notice.

Panorama Cottage is all by itself in Maleny with spectacular views over the Mary Valley, veranda with BBQ, its own private Jacuzzi (always hot), log fire, recliner sofa, a full kitchen with dish washer and laundry with washer and dryer. All the same extras are available.

Getting There
From the Bruce Highway exit at the Maroochydore/Nambour roundabout and follow signs to Nambour. This is also the turn off for the Big Pineapple.

About 1km after passing the Big Pineapple, take the Palmwoods/Kiels Mountain Rd exit on the left

Turn left at the roundabout and drive several kilometres into Palmwoods. Go under the railway bridge and turn left, drive through Palmwoods towards Montville.

About 2km from Palmwoods, there are two roundabouts ??? one just before the school zone and another one after the school access road. Continue on past the caravan park and over the Paynter Creek bridge.

Immediately past the creek is Hunchy Rd. Turn right here. Drive 5km to the old purple shed, then turn right (our sign is on the corner). 1km on the right is Hunchy Hideaway.

From Montville, find the sign to Hunchy between the school and the village green. Come 1km down Razorback Rd, turn left into Hunchy Rd at the purple shed. We are 1km along on the right.
