Overview
You will share the warmth of Howlong hospitality when you stay at The Howlong Country Golf Club Motel. The motel overlooks the golf course, bowling greens and manicured gardens which together create the true feeling of country and relaxation.
The motel is situated only 15 minutes away from the twin cities of Albury/Wodonga on the Riverina Highway, therefore for the city girl and guy who need their occasional dose of population and shopping it is only down the road. Because of the clubs central location, family day trips, winery tours and water activities can be on the agenda. The club is only 23km from the Rutherglen wine region, and is only a short drive from surrounding townships of Chiltern, Beechworth, Corowa, Milawa, Yarrawonga/Mulwala. Even the snow fields of Falls creek are only a short drive away as well the regions most popular fishing and swimming destination the Hume Weir.

Our units are very clean and comfortable with large LCD HD flatscreens and tea and coffee making facilities. An inground pool with a spa is provided along with a large undercover BBQ facility for all guests to use.
We are just 50 metres from the Clubhouse which offers Chinese dining in the "Happy Lotus" restaurant six days a week (closed on Mondays) and take away is available. Australian cuisine is available from Adamshurst at the Windmill open 7 days a week for lunch and Monday and Friday nights for dinner. The clubhouse has full T.A.B facilties with a big wall screen for improved viewing of all the sporting action. Guests may also try their luck on Club Keno whilst enjoying a freshly made foccacia and coffee in the Windmill Cafe. We have a large undercover Al Fresco area overlooking the landscaped gardens, lake and manicured fairways which is the perfect spot for a quiet drink and rest after or before play. Family groups are welcome with a kids area with playstations, kids movies and various other childrens activities to do. We also have a baby changing area for our mummy and daddy members and guests to use.
The region surrounding Howlong is famous for its wineries namely the Rutherglen Wine Region. Some of the best fortified wines in the world produced by Morris wines are only 3km from our club!
We have a large auditorium / function room ajoining our dining room which can seat up to 400 people. The club regularly provides live entertainment around our large dance floor on Saturday nights. Our function room, with private bar, is the perfect venue for large dinner groups, parties, work functions, conferences or friend and family get togethers.

We are 29km from Albury/Wodonga on the Riverina Highway. Travel west from Albury along the Riverina Highway and we are located at 186 Golf Club Drive. We are also located approximately 22 minutes drive from Corowa NSW.
