Originally built in 1854, The Hotel Shamrock has remained as an Icon of Bendigo and Victoria throughout the ages. Our current building was constructed in 1897 and is recognized not only in Bendigo, but Australia wide.

The Hotel Shamrock commands the city's finest location, situated on the corner of Pall Mall and Williamson Street in Bendigo's CBD.
It sits adjacent to the magnificent Rosalind Park and the historic Post office and court house buildings.

Your choice at The Hotel Shamrock ranges from suites with comfortable private lounge areas and spa baths, to ensuite rooms. Whatever your choice, all are tastefully furnished, with fine quality linen, and include fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar, TV, radio, ISD/STD phone, alarm clock, personally controlled air conditioning and heating and wireless broadband internet connection available throughout the Hotel. The Hotel has recently been refurbished, with new furniture and linen in all our accommodation rooms and new bathrooms. The public areas have been repainted in the original Heritage colours.

For something a little more special, enjoy dinner while admiring the best view in all of Bendigo in our Victorian Wine Room restaurant. Open Wednesday to Saturday evening we're serving up some of the regions best produce along with the best wines Victoria has to offer. Choose to sit inside in our beautifully appointed restaurant, or on the balcony for a view you'll never forget.

If you have arrived by car, you will also appreciate the adjacent secure, undercover multi storey Council owned car park available for our guests. There is a cost of $6.50 per night for this during the week.

Getting There
90 minutes from Melbourne on the Calder Highway, one block past the fountain in the heart of Bendigo. We are a ten to fifteen minute walk from the train station, or Taxis are readily available.

Under cover secure parking available in the Council multi storey carpark adjacent to the Hotel for $6.50 per day (payable at hotel reception or at the car park)
