Overview
Heritage Lodge & Spa - formally Daintree Heritage Lodge & Spa is now officially open for business, totally refurbished and with new owners Vicki Bidwell & Family.

The Lodge has been extensively renovated to a 3.5 star boutique hotel standard offering a complementary standard of service, whilst you sit back, relax and experience nature at its best.

Just two hours North of Cairns, this is the only place in the world where two world heritage listed National Parks join. This section of the Daintree rainforest, is where the worlds most ancient rainforest, meets the reef.

Wake to the call of birds in one of our rainforest cabins and enjoy the clear pure air of the Daintree. All 20 cabins in our boutique lodge are set within serenity of the rainforest and are perfect for bird, butterfly or musky rat kangaroo spotting. Take a swim with jungle perch and turtles in untouched crystal clear Cooper Creek, which winds through the lodge en-route from the mountains to the sea.

As soon as you set foot into the lodge you are made to feel at home. From the smells of fresh bread drifting from the kitchen to the warm welcome from the attentive local staff.

Our chef will tantalise your tastebuds using the finest of local ingredients. Enjoy breakfast,lunch and dinner in ON The Turps Restaurant overlooking the magical Cooper Creek.

Getting There
Two hours North of Cairns and approximately one hour North of Port Douglas.

Follow the Captain Cook highway to the Cape Tribulation turnoff.
Take the Daintree River Ferry North and turn left into Turpentine Road (approximately 15km north of the Ferry Crossing).
The Daintree Ferry accepts cash only. A return ticket of $21 will need to be purchased.
