Relax, have a great meal using our own produce, enjoy a walk on our 36 acres or at the Russell Falls in the Mount Field National Park, or have a relaxing drink at the cafe next to the Tyenna River. Want some adventure, then we can book a trip to the fabulous lookout on top of the Eagles' Eyrie as part of the Maydena Adventure Hub activities or have a go on a kayak or the Jet Boat on the Derwent River (subject to availability).

The restored farmhouse and adjoining additions offer some of the best Tasmanian accommodation experiences. Our facility is nestled on 36 acres at Fentonbury Hamlet, a 60 minute drive from Hobart.

Each unit has its own entrance, bedroom, patio,dining/lounge area and some have a kitchen or kitchenette.

Room views are to the beautiful gardens.

Start your day with continental or cooked breakfasts and enjoy dinner featuring our own seasonal produce. There is no need to prebook dinner from our a la carte menu or just enjoy a light meal.


Hair dryers, TV, DVD player, electric blankets, tea and coffee making facilities are all provided.

Our gardens feature overflowing beds of cottage flowers intermingled with native plants and berry bushes. Walk along our 1 kilometre track to our orchard and a series of water ponds where you may see the wildlife. Bird watching is a must.

Local attractions include the Mount Field National Park and Russell Falls, the Maydena Adventure Hub, Redlands Hop Estate, the Styx Valley and the magnificent South West Wilderness Area.

Getting There
Fentonbury is situated between the towns of Westerway and Ellendale.

Road Directions: A1 from Hobart to Granton, A10 to New Norfolk, B62 & B61 to Westerway, C608 to Fentonbury, 65km from Hobart, 1 hours drive.

We have road signs located at Westerway, the Lyell Highway between the towns of Ouse and Hamilton and also at Gully Road Fentonbury. We are situated 500 metres up Gully Road first property on the right.
