Overview
The Hahndorf Motor Lodge is a 3.5-Star Motel in the heart of the historical town of Hahndorf. It is a classic style lodge with incredible style and quality making in a great stay in the Adelaide Hills. Only twenty minutes’ drive from the Adelaide CBD it is the perfect location to explore the region and the neighbouring areas such as the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, and the Fleurieu Peninsula. With its German roots and Australian charm Hahndorf is the ideal located for a South Australian stay.


The Hahndorf Motor Lodge has 19 rooms which were recently renovated. All our rooms contain a kitchenette, which includes a small fridge, microwave, toaster, and kettle, and let’s not forget the large flat-screen TV with 8 complimentary Foxtel channels. Off street car parking is complimentary and accessible from the Main Street.


We have an undercover heated pool and spa which can be used between 8am and 8pm everyday all year round. There are also BBQ facilities onsite with an outdoor dining area.


We have our own restaurant called The Haus cafe+bar+kitchen which is across the road from the motel and serves from 7:30am until late. They are ‘regional in focus, global in outlook, and local at heart’. Whether you are sitting in the morning sun eating breakfast, chatting with friends over tea and scones, or dining in the evening with a glass of Adelaide Hills wine The Haus cafe+bar+kitchen does nothing except delight and excite.


Hahndorf itself has so much to offer each individual from shopping to dining to hiking, or perhaps you could treat yourself to a wine tour to one of the many amazing Adelaide Hills wineries. Immerse yourself in the numerous wildlife parks and walking trails, try some locally made chesses or pick your own strawberries at the famous Beerenberg Farm. All of these and more are on your doorstep when you stay in Hahndorf.

Our sister property, The Manna of Hahndorf, located only 100m up the road, has two computers for complimentary use in the recepetion office with printing and faxing facilities. Wireless Complimentary Internet Access is available in all our guest rooms & motel grounds.

Getting There
Travelling from Adelaide along the Freeway take the exit for Hahndorf and follow the road as this is the Main Street. We are located closer to the other end of the town on the right-hand side of the road behind The Hahndorf Inn Hotel.


Travelling from Murray Bridge along the Freeway take the exit for Mount Barker and follow the signs to Hahndorf. The town of Hahndorf begins just as you pass the Beerenberg Strawberry Farm, and we are located on the left-hand side of the road behind the Hahndorf inn Hotel.

Parking Info
The Hahndorf Motor Lodge has off-street parking that can be accessed from the Main Street via the entrance to the car park of The Hahndorf Inn Hotel where the Celebrations bottle shop is located. Go through the car park and you can see the motel located at the back and the car park is just over the little bridge.
