Gooromon Park's cottages reflect an elegant old world charm evoking thoughts of country living while providing the perfect mix of classic style and modern facilities that will help to make your stay genuinely relaxing. Private and cozy, offering your very own lounge and dining area where you can idle away the hours reading or just sitting quietly taking in the views and tranquility or snuggle up in the big comfy bed for an afternoon nap. Each cottage has a spacious bathroom with a Japanese style bath tub for two, roomy shower, large basins, spa accessories, fluffy towelling robes, overlooking views of the countryside. Sit on your private balcony or sun filled rear deck and enjoy a glass of local wine, watch the horses grazing in the paddocks or just mellow.

Enjoy your generous European style continental breakfast basket. Lunch is available at the award winning Gooromon Park Homestead Cafe located on the property, open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The English gardens that surround the Gooromon Park venues create a magical location. Wander through the rose and lavender gardens or across the lawns surrounding the Homestead and Cottages on this 40 acre horse farm. Or, you can simply linger on the stairs leading into the cottages and appreciate the stunning views over Canberra and the Brindabella Mountains. Appreciate the beautiful sunshine or the backdrop of a truly spectacular sunset.

To truly experience the unique environment of Gooromon Park you can arrange a horse riding lesson with our accredited, highly qualified professional riding instructors. For a fun learning experience and to satisfy a need for some adventure or to ride because you love it. Riding can be organised for each day of your stay at Gooromon Park.

The farm is home to a wide array of birds featuring Australian parrots, rosellas, galahs, lorikeets, white cockatoos and the endangered black cockatoos, yellow/green budgerigars along with beautiful tiny blue wrens, wild ducks, ibis, magpies, and kookaburras. Many of these birds can be seen most days. Depending on the time of year you may also see our visiting black swans.

Kangaroos live within the area and can be seen in the top paddocks at dusk. The Southern Greys are the most common to the area and live in large mobs. Most days mobs of around 10 will graze on the farm, usually with one or two BIG male kangaroos.

The Gooromon Park Homestead Cafe can be booked throughout the week for private functions. The Homestead offers small private rooms for meetings, planning days and other corporate functions.
The Brindabella Function Centre is available for seminars, conferences, meetings, team building days and other large functions, seating up to 80 people. It is most ideal for corporate events, cocktail parties, formal or casual dinners.
The Gooromon Park Horse Riding Centre is also another facility that can be used to host team building days incorporating more memorable activities and challenges.
The large outdoor lawn area can be used for displays, garden parities and other events.
