Overview
Your friendly hosts Angus and Mary welcome you to Golden Sands Motor Inn – AAA 3 star rated.

We have ten tooms, all are spacious and comfortable. Eight have a queen and single bed and we also have two family rooms with a queen and two singles (cot available). Small kitchenettes are in each unit. The property itself has a swimming pool and BBQ area. Full breakfast is available and we are handy to local restaurants.

Beaches are a short distances away and we can help you with bookings for all tourist attractions including Fraser Island, whale watching and Lady Elliott Island and also organise rental cars and bike rentals.

We are handy to major shopping complexes, a movie theatre, hotels, bars and restaurants and are just metres from the Southern Queensland University (USQ) Fraser Coast Campus.

This motel has been in Hervey Bay for many years and new owners Mary and Angus are keen to upgrade all facilities to ensure patron's experiences in Hervey Bay are first class.

By road - From the Bruce Highway take the exit to Hervey Bay through Maryborough or Torbanlea/Howard and follow to Boat Harbour Drive. Turn into Main Street at Red Rooster and Hungry Jack’s restaurants, drive two blocks to Old Maryborough Road then turn right. We are on the corner of Old Maryborough Rd and Main Street, Pialba.

Airport shuttle service - Virgin flights direct Sydney to Hervey Bay daily, taxi, handy to bus interchange.

Local bus service linking to Maryborough.
