Garden Motor Inn is a foundation member of Golden Chain Motor Inns and owned and operated by the Howard family since 1988. Our motel offers traditional hospitality in this iconic Australian town. Stroll 800 metres to shops from our quiet and tranquil garden setting with sweeping rural views. In summer take a dip in our pool. All rooms are at ground level and non smoking. Licensed dining every evening (Closed 24th December 2011, re-opens 3rd January 2012) with home style cooking in Gundagai's best location. Arrive by 7.30pm and you can enjoy the ambience of our Dining Room and perhaps try one of the favourite dishes on our menu-roast lamb.Our dining is our difference! Coming from Sydney direction take the first Gundagai exit, travel 1km and the Motel is on the left.

Coming from Melbourne direction exit left as soon as you cross the Gundagai bridge, then take first left (West St) then travel 1km. The Motel is on the right at the top of the hill.
