Our motel is situated a short 10 minutes from the CBD, with public transport at our door.
With 39 spacious rooms, there is a room to suit everyone, from singles to families.
Each room features its own ensuite bathroom and spacious living/sleeping area, including hairdryer, toiletries, tea & coffee making facilities, television with DVD, bar fridge, Foxtel, high-speed Wireless Broadband Internet, alarm clock, air conditioning, heating and direct dial phone.
The motel also has a guest lounge, which holds a pool table and large LCD TV and DVD Player for the guests' enjoyment.
The Footscray Motor Inn boasts an intimate and personalised restaurant and bar that provides the personalised service and attention that each guest deserves.
The restaurant is open on week nights for dinner and the bar is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and room service is also available.
A credit card or cash bond is required to hold bookings and is required for your stay. If choosing a bond, we only take cash, which is returned after the house-keepers have cleaned your suite, on the condition that you leave the room the way you found it, in mint condition.

Getting There
From the Melbourne International Airport: Get onto the Tullamarine Freeway Southbound, Airport West and exit the freeway at the Bulla Road Exit, where you turn right onto Bulla Road. At the round about take the 1st exit onto Mt Alexander Road, Essendon. Follow Mt Alexander Road until you reach Maribyrnong Road, which you will turn right into. This changes to Raleigh Rd, which you continue along until you reach Rosamond Road. Turn left into it and follow straight down to Ballarat Road, also known as the Western Highway, where you will turn left. You will then pass through two sets of lights, one passing over Gordon Street, stopping at a third set of lights, where you will bear right at Droop Street. This trip should take you 20 minutes by car or taxi.
You can also access our motel by public transport. The train station closest to us is the Footscray Train Station. The tram to Moonee Ponds travels straight past us and the 222 bus service from Highpoint to Footscray also runs past our doorstep.

The Footscray Motor Inn has ample,off-street parking that is free to all guests at the motel.
