Overview
The ideal spot for your group accommodation / function / event, located on pristine national park, nestled between Angels and Shelly Beaches, which are some of the most magical spots along the north coast. We are also located at iconic surf spots trestles and speeds reef, which are positioned on our headland, which is a popular fishing location as well. Our centre accesses the main cycle way in Ballina, which is literally kilometres of cycle path along the coast line and Richmond River at Ballina, safe for ?hildren, as it doesnt cross a single road along its length.

Dunes on Shelly Beach have dorm accommodation for up to 84 in a mixture of formats. There are two x 12 bed dorms, four x 8 bed dorms, two x family dorms (Rm 1. sleeping 6- consists of 1 x double bed plus 2x single bunks. Rm 2- sleeping 9 consists of 1x double bed, 1x double with top single bunk plus 2x single bunks) three double plus dorms (with one double and one single bed in a bunk configuration), and one x double bed dorm. Facilities available for group hire. No linen provided. All rooms very clean and freshly renovated, featuring brand new beds and mattresses. They overlook national park and have balcony and deck access. Disabled friendly.

We have a large function hall (with full audio/visual setup for conferences and presentations and a bar facility), a dining hall (with games room, office, and access to kitchen), a commercial kitchen (with full size cool room and professional cooking equipment), an outdoors chapel/conference area (overlooking Angels Beach), a toilet/shower/laundry block (male/female/and disabled), a beach volleyball court, loads of outdoors and covered entertainment areas, and large spaces for sports and games. These areas can be hired separately if required.

Also, the whole venue can be hired exclusively, which gives you access to all features.

We are able to organise any special activities your group may need (such as surfing and skate boarding lessons, river cruises, laser skirmish, bike hire and many others), and have a number of partner businesses that can offer special rates for you (such as ten pin bowling or skating). Must be organised through front office.

Getting There
From Pacific Highway:

Enter Ballina, cross North Creek, continue forward along Bangalow Rd, get into the left lane to exit the highway, turn left onto Angels Beach Drive, follow for roughly 4km, turn right at round about onto the Coast Road, follow for roughly 1?km, turn left onto Shelly Beach Road, now take first left hand turn into driveway of Dunes on Shelly Beach.

As above, but make a right hand turn onto Bangalow Road from Pacific Highway.

Ballina. 10 to 15 minute drive to the property.

Parking Info
The facility has its own car park facilities, located at the front of the centre. No parking in manager?s driveway or blocking off any main road or access point please.
