Business Facilities
Faxing and photocopying can be organised at reception for you as well as mailing, couriering etc. There is a computer located in the foyer available for all guests to use, which has free Internet access 24 hours a day.
All rooms have a large desk with a desk lamp, alarm clock/radio and have direct dial ISD/IDD phones (phone lines are analog for modem use). The hotel has wireless internet access.
Modern meeting rooms available for small or larger functions up to 120 people, with full catering options.
Wake-up calls and taxi bookings can be made, and The Australian newspaper is delivered complimentary in the mornings (other publications upon request also).
Getting There
The hotel is located two blocks North of Melbourne's CBD in the suburb of Carlton, on the corner of Lygon and Queensberry streets. The closest train station is Melbourne Central on the City Loop. From there it is only a seven minute walk northeast up Swanston Street then right into Queensberry Street (a tram can be caught from the station up Swanston Street).
From the City, any tram heading north up Swanston St will go past Queensberry St. Get off at Queensberry St and walk 2 blocks East to the corner of Lygon.
Taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost around $50 alteratively the skybus will take you to the city for $16 per person each way, the hotel is then only a $5 taxi ride.
Driving from the airport to the hotel or from anywhere North of Melbourne you need to make your way onto Flemington Rd, the freeway from the airport joins up with this. After you pass the major roundabout the road will become Elizabeth St. From here you turn left (Easterly direction) into Queensberry and follow this until you reach the corner of Lygon St which is where the hotel is located. You will see us on the far right corner!
Parking Info
Secure on site parking is available at $20.00 per night. You may be required to leave car keys with Reception. If guests do not want to leave car keys, car parking is the responsibility of the individual guest.
