At the end of a hard days skiing, ski or board right back to our front door via the home trails where you’ll find friends new and old gathered around our licensed bar for pre-dinner nibbles or warming themselves beside the fire. Then enjoy the impressive, sociable dinners prepared by our chefs before retiring to a warm, comfortable room with its own private facilities.

Diana is also a great base for the summer mountain activities, such as hiking, cycling and fishing, and events including cultural, music, and sports. There is plenty to do and see in this beautiful, serene and cool environment.

Getting There
Driving
The road to Falls Creek, Bogong High Plains Road, is open all year round from Mt Beauty but closed from Omeo during winter because of snow. Diana Alpine Lodge is located approximately 150 metres from the intersection of Bogong High Plains Road and Falls Creek Road, next door to the Falls Creek Licensed Supermarket and Post Office.

During winter there is a resort entry fee. Carrying snow chains is a legal requirement and must be fitted where. Consider using a ground sheet and gloves when fitting chains. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration on snow or ice. A Windscreen scraper will clear ice from car windows. You may need a shovel to dig your car out of the snow.

Please ensure cars have appropriate anti-freeze. Diesel vehicles should be filled with “Alpine Mix” fuel. Alpine Diesel is available in Mt Beauty.

Coach
Return coach services are available from Melbourne, Albury and Mt Beauty.

Air
Flights into Melbourne and Albury can meet the winter coach service.

Train
Train services to Albury can meet the winter coach service.

Parking Info
In normal winter conditions no direct access is possible within the village due to snow, Resort Management parking attendants will show drivers where to park and unload. Over snow transport is available to the lodge.

Outside of winter there is street parking adjacent to the lodge. During low snow or peak summer periods the Resort Management will restrict parking within the village and provide courtesy shuttles to and from main car parks.
