Overview
Our motel is in a central but quiet location offering 16 ground floor rooms for overnight or longer term accommodation. Each room has cooking facilities with a stovette, microwave, and all cutlery and crockery. Each room sleeps two to three guests or two rooms can join to create an adjoining set of family rooms via interconnecting door. The configuration of the rooms can be adjusted with bunk beds, pull out sofas etc in addition to a queen size bed or two single beds.
There are extensive grounds with playground and wood fired barbecue as well as laundry facilities on-site. We have an arrangement with the RSL Club some 150m away so that food and drinks can be charged to our rooms and it’s only a short walk to the local shopping Centre.

Getting There
The motel is situated at 30 Main Rd, George Town. This is the main road from Launceston. The motel is next to the Shell Petrol Station and has a very large Accommodation sign on top of the reception building. There is a bus stop for transport to Launceston across the road. The shopping precinct with restaurants, takeaways, a supermarket, pharmacy newsagents, bakeries, coffee shops and others is around five minutes’ walk or one minute by car from the motel.
