Directions

- From Cairns take the scenic drive up to Kuranda.
- From Kuranda follow the Kennedy Highway 12 km
towards Mareeba .
- Turn left at the Cedar Park Resort sign (Clohsey River Road). Enjoy the 6 km drive trough the bush until you reach the Wet Tropic Word Heritage Rainforest (10 Min)

We are members of Greenpeace, Birds Australia, Wildlife Rescue, the Wilderness Society, and the local Enviro Care. This is something our guests appreciate and we involve them in our lifestyle.
Our local knowledge of the animals and fauna helps to create an educational and interesting stay.

Crater Lakes, Waterfalls, Wildlife spotting, Rainforest Bushwalks,

Most of these attractions are private owned and free and we provide our Guests with a customized Map so they get the best and most out of the holidays.

As active Members of Wildlife Rescue and official Release Site for native
Wildlife, we grant our guests the opportunity firsthand experience and to understand how important it is to look after native animals.

Parks and Wildlife have provided us with official markers for a beautiful Rainforest walk just behind our Resort (which is National Park).
We have all the Books and Maps for Bush-walks around the area and promote these natural experiences with great Success.

We have the advantage to be located right on the edge of the Rainforest
and the Bush and therefore we have an enormous variety of Flora and Fauna.
Bird-watchers all over the World arriving to see rear or seasonal Birds.

Getting There
DIRECTION FROM CAIRNS:
DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAP DIRECTION !!!!
Drive from Cairns to Kuranda and stay on the Kennedy Hwy towards Mareeba.
Past Speewah. After the Mobile Fuel Station 1 km on the left. Turn left where the Cedar Park Rainforest sign is and keep driving an other 5.5km trough the forest.
DIRECTION FROM MAREEBA:
Drive 26km towards Kuranda. 26km from Mareeba turn right and keep driving an other 5.5km trough the forest.

Cedar Park is for the self drive market and a spacious carpark is provided at the Resort
