The Bright Avenue Motor Inn offers a choice of Deluxe, Executive, Family, Executive Spa Suites and the ever popular Luxury Spa and Wood Fire Suites with open fires and full size spas.

Our rooms have been tastefully refurbished and offer all the modern conveniences including King/Queen size beds, climate control system, free wireless internet, microwaves and complimentary in-house movies.

Being a double brick building with extensive veranda's we keep the summer heat out and the winter warmth in - without a problem.

Our Deluxe Suites have been designed for comfort and the budget minded without compromising quality. Room contents- new 26" flat screen lcd tv, dvd players comfy leather sofas and dining table for two or three, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave as well as tea and coffee facilities.

The Executive rooms (6) are large and airy and filled with plenty of natural light and contain a mixture of doubles and twins 1 QS or KS bed & 1 Single bed, new 26" flat screen lcd tv, dvd players comfy leather sofas and dining table for two or three, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave as well as tea and coffee facilities. Extra blankets and pillows are also supplied. A large bathroom is also an added feature of these rooms. These rooms have wide verandas and overlook a quiet garden courtyard with plenty of seating. Room Configuration: 1QS and and or 1Sbed, All rooms have also 1 DB sofa. Fee of $20 applies to have made up.

The Family Apartments offer comfort and space. Designed for families or twins who require a little more privacy, We have two room styles that have the following configurations: Family 1- 1Qsbed, 2 Sbeds, 1 Bathroom, or Family 2- 1QSbed, 1Sbed, 1Sbunk, 2 Bathrooms. Please contact us for availability. Ensuite bathroom with vanity, toilet and shower. Our apartments offer quality and comfort - for short or long stays for the whole family.

The Executive Spa (1) room is large and airy and filled with plenty of natural light. It has 1 Queen size bed, couch that folds out into a double bed, table for two, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave as well as tea and coffee facilities. Extra blankets and pillows are also supplied. The large bathroom has a two person spa bath. This room has dual access to both the wide verandas that open out onto a quiet garden courtyard with plenty of seating as well as overlooking the pool with its own veranda and seating. Fee of $20 applies to have made up.

The Luxury Suites have been designed with the utmost care and consideration for our guest. These Suites are truly for those that want to be spoilt with comfort and style with open fires and full size 2 person spas. The Luxury suites all have their own verandas that have all day summer and winter sun and cool relaxing afternoon shade from tall lofty trees.

The Bright Avenue Motor Inn is ideally situated on the picturesque Delany Avenue (Great Alpine Road), that is well known not only for the trees but also the gardens that line it, within easy walking distance of the central business district and features beautiful secluded views of the mountains surrounding Bright.

The Bright Avenue Motor Inn provides a fantastic base from which to explore all the attractions the North East of Victoria has to offer. Everything is within 1 hours drive along well sign posted and scenic roads.

If you are using a Satellite Navigation System in your vehicle, if we don't register please use Cedar Lane which is 50m east us as the location destination.We also suggest that you print and place this email into the glove-box in your car ready for your visit to Bright.

From NSW/Albury:
Driving through Albury on Freeway you take the first exit to Talangatta (B400) once you pass over the Murry River into Victoria. Follow this road through to the new Wodonga East Shopping Complex on the Baranduda Road. Turn Left and continue on until the signs indicating Mt Beauty and Ski Fields (C531), this road is called the Kiewa Valley Highway. Further along take the first turn to the right and head towards Yakandandah (C527).

From Yakandanah you continue to Myrtleford. Turn Left at Myrtleford and onto Bright along the Great Alpine Road (B500).

From Melbourne:
If arriving in Bright in the evening it is best to perhaps travel from Melbourne directly to the start of the Great Alpine Road (B500) in Wangaratta via the Hume Freeway.

If arriving in the afternoon you can turn of via Glenrowan (just past McDonalds -yuk) onto the Snow Road. The Snow Road ends just prior to Myrtleford joining the Great Alpine Road and is quite a pretty drive.

Arriving in Bright:
When driving to Bright along the Great Alpine Road from Wangaratta or Myrtleford, the Great Alpine Road is the main Street that runs all the way through town. The first half of the Great Alpine Road is called Gavan St. You will pass Woolworths, through the roundabout, past Alpine Visitor Information Centre and over Morses Creek Bridge.
Once you pass over the bridge the Great Alpine Road is now called Delany Avenue. The Avenue Motor Inn -Bright, is situated 900m past the bridge on the left hand side (no 87 Delany Avenue). We have a big white sign with a green pine tree in it as per our photo listed upon our website.

From Bairnsdale:
When driving into Bright along the Great Alpine Road from Mt Hotham, Harrietville or Mt Beauty you enter Bright on Delany Avenue. The Avenue Motor Inn, Bright, is situated 1 km after the first 60km speed reduction sign. Then 500m after the second 60km speed reduction sign. We are located on the right hand side (no 87) Delany Avenue. We have a stone wall and a big white sign with a green pine tree in it as per our photo listed upon our website.

Given that it is Bright and the town population swells to thousands at certain periods it is suggested that you make reservations for dinner in advance.

Public transport is available via Bus and Trains to Wangaratta - Bus via VLine Links to Bright. If arriving by Bus please contact for courtesy car pick up.
