PLEASE NOTE -

1. Guests under the age of 18 are not permitted to stay at Bounce. Student and university groups are considered by request only.

2. Groups of 2+ guests: We cannot guarantee that guests will be allocated beds in the same room. Please make a request when booking and we will do our best to keep your group together.

3. All guests are required to present photo ID at check-in. Drivers License or Passport only.

Kitchen -
Whether its hot water for noodles or a gourmet feast for forty, the Bounce kitchen has everything you need to satisfy your hunger. Gas cook tops, convection ovens, microwaves, instant hot water, recycling bins and preparation islands. Everything you need is located on level 4. In addition you?ll also find storage cubby?s for all your ingredients. We have provided no less than 8 fridges for your convenience to keep your food cool. Outside on the balcony you can take advantage of the huge aussie BBQ ? a dining must!

Dining Area -
Located next to the gourmet kitchen is the Bounce dining room! Long communal tables give you the opportunity to meet other guests, share meals and enjoy the community spirit of Bounce Hotel.

Outdoor Leisure Area -
You wont find anything else like this is Sydney! With magnificent views out over the Sydney CBD you can relax or party in style. Luxurious bean bags, sun lounges, BBQs and sunsets.

Bounce provides Wi-Fi for all guests - Free 30 mins upon check-in and additional internet access can be purchased from Reception. We also have networked internet terminals on various levels so you can connect and stay in touch easily.


Reception Desk -
Bounce Reception is located at street level on Chalmers Street so there are no steps to lug your bags up. Our experienced team have a wealth of knowledge so make sure you put it to good use!

Getting There
Bounce is perfectly located so you can easily bounce around to all of Sydney?s landmarks. We are only a short 10km journey from the airport which can be completed by bus, taxi or train.

By Rail:
Bounce is located directly opposite Sydney?s Central Station. In fact if you catch the train from the Airport you will arrive on platform 23 which can be seen from our front door step. Ask anyone for directions to Chalmers Street. We are located at 28 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills.

By Taxi:
Costs around $25-$30 depending on traffic. Ask driver to go via O'Riordan Street and through Redfern and down Chalmers Street as this is the shortest route ? don?t let them go via the freeway.

By Bus:
There are numerous shuttles from the Airport.

Parking Info
There is no parking available at the hostel. Restricted metered parking is available in Chalmers Street. Pay Parking Stations are located in Mary Street (between Albion & Foveaux St) and in Holt St (near Devonshire St).
Disabled car parking is available in Chalmers Street.
