Jenolan Caves are just over an hours drive, Zig Zag Railway and Mount Tomah about 40 mins.The railway station is 3 minutes walk and trains arrive from and depart to Sydney every hour. There are lots of interesting Restaurants, Bars, Shops & Cafes all around the property (make sure that you dont miss the fantastic Common Ground Cafe which is right next door) The RSL is on the street behind us. Getting There
Blue Mountains Heritage Motel is right in the centre of Katoomba, adjacent to Katoomba Town Centre Motel, 700 metres straight down Katoomba Street from the Railway Station, we are on the left hand corner of the first cross Street. 200 metres from the GPO. FROM SYDNEY BY RAIL Trains leave hourly from Central Station, (Blue Mountains platform), if you are coming from the North you can catch the train at Strathfield. The journey to Katoomba takes 2 hours from Central, leave the train at Katoomba Station, exit down the ramp and turn right, you can reach street level by either the steps or the lift. Straight across from you is Katoomba Street and we are 2 minute walk down or a taxi is the minimum fare. FROM SYDNEY BY CAR Head towards Parramatta/Blue Mountains and join M4 Freeway, this become Great Western Highway at Glenbrook and you follow this to Katoomba, turn left over railway bridge, left again at other side and right at the roundabout outside Railway Station. We are at the bottom of Katoomba Street on the left hand corner of the first cross street.
