Blaze Rock Retreat is only a short drive from Halls Gap, the Heart of the Grampians Region. Indulge at one of the wineries, vist our local Wildlife Park or take in one of the many bush walks on offer. Read a book from the supply in your room.

For those seeking more active pursuits try rock climbing, abseiling, quad bike riding or 4wd tours.

Dining out is easy at one of the many eateries in Halls Gap, or bring some provisions and picnic with your loved one in the Bush on the Property.

Blaze Rock Retreat is situated on the Ararat Halls Gap Road, between Pomonal and Halls Gap, just 3.7 km from Pomonal and 5.7km from Grampians Rd, Halls Gap. An easy 3 hour drive from Melbourne or 5 hours from Adelaide.

Getting There
By Car
From Melbourne: Travel on the Western Highway past Ballarat and on to Ararat. Continue heading up the main street of Ararat and out the West end of town. This is the main Scenic route from Ararat to Halls Gap. We are located 37.5km past Ararat in between Pomonal and Halls Gap on the left side of the Road. Signage is easily seen.

Please note that most GPS systems (even the newest) do not have our road correctly marked. Some have it listed as Pomonal Ararat Road and others Lake Fyans Road. Please follow these directions to avoid getting lost.

From Adelaide: Travel the Western Highway until you reach Stawell. At the intersection signed 'Pomonal' (BP on the corner) turn right. Travel the 21km to the end of this road then turn right. We are located 3.7km from this intersection on the left.
