Bimbadeen Mountain Retreat.

Relax unwind and soak up the magnificent valley views below.

Bimbadeen Mountain Retreat is located at Mt View on 55 mountain acres with views of the valley below and only 10 minutes to Pokolbin, heart of Wine Country.

Our home is built from re-cycled convict hewn sandstone blocks which were sourced from all over the Hunter Valley. We built it ourselves over 12 years and with magnificent leadlight windows and large oregon beams, it is looks as though it has stood on the side of Bimbadeen Mountain for a hundred years right here, in Hunter Valley Wine Country.

The cottage is 10 metres from the B&B

We cater for couples and groups of up to 6 people we seek a complete and relaxing atmosphere, here in the Hunter Valley
We offer private wine tasting tours in a luxurious limousine or a Ford G6E stylish sedan.

We combine stunning views, peace & harmony with beautiful views, birdlife and bushwalking.We have 2 deluxe B&B spa suites and a self contained cottage.

Bimbadeen Mountain Retreat also has a limousine service: ‘Wine Country Limousines’ and offer luxurious limousines and aFord G6E stylish sedan for wine tasting tours where you can choose your own itinerary.

Your hosts Chris and Joe Taranto have lived in the area for 30 years so can provide local knowledge about things to do and see or book you into any of the local restaurants, day spas, hot air ballooning, horse and carriage tours or a mini bus tour.

If you like nature, fresh air, beautiful birds and enjoy bush walking or outdoor activities as well as great local wines, you certainly won't be disappointed.

Getting There
Traveling north on the F3 freeway (towards Newcastle, take the Cessnock (Hunter Valley Vineyards) exit. Turn left on to Freeman’s Drive. Follow the signs to Cessnock.

You will arrive at a set of traffic lights at the intersection of Aberdare Rd and Vincent St. Turn right into Vincent St.(The main street for shopping). Proceed to the T intersection turn left on to Wollombi Rd.

Proceed along Wollombi Rd for approx 5Klms through Bellbird. On your right hand side you will see the Bellbird Hotel on the first corner. The next corner is the Bellbird news agency on the third corner you will find a miners memorial park. Turn right at the park into Kendall St. Follow Kendall St for 2.5Klms. Kendall St changes name to Bimbadeen Rd half way along.

Traveling along Bimbadeen Rd you will notice a large burgundy sign with gold writing BIMBADEEN MOUNTIAN RETREAT turn left at the sign then go 50 meters and turn right on to Moon Mountain Drive we are just at the top of the steep drive way.
