Christabelle Cottage is an exclusive heritage property, circa 1849 located in Lyndoch. Especially quaint, bursting with character, Christabelle has encouraged many a romance, heard numerous marriage proposals, and provided thousands of lasting memories. Originally a church built from ironstone, now beautifully renovated to provide a private, charming and very unique cottage, an indulgent getaway.
Step inside and you will find the extensive use of carefully crafted stone and timber. A spiral stair case leads to the open mezzanine bedroom with ensuite and robe, with high cathedral ceilings and lead light windows, the afternoon sun projects lovely colours throughout from the leadlight windows.
The open plan dining, lounge room has a large combustion heater, with large windows overlooking the garden. Complete with TV, DVD and stereo, large selection of books, magazines and games.
A fully equipped country kitchen with fine wine glasses, crockery and cutlery, a BBQ can be made available for your use. French doors open to the garden, with views over the Barossa Ranges.

Exclusively yours a quite retreat, a charming indulgent getaway. Daisybelle Cottage is an enchanting stone cottage, originally a school house in the mid 1850s now lovingly restored for you to relax, unwind and enjoy. The property features three queen bedrooms, a cosy lounge room, a country kitchen.
The large sunroom houses a pool table. The gazebo area is a lovely location for overlooking the Barossa Ranges and enjoying the BBQ facilities provided, also perfect for watching the setting sunset with a good glass of Barossa wine!
Stylish furnishings throughout, the lounge room has TV, stero, DVD and a large selection of books and magazines. The bathroom features a lovely claw foot bath.
Please note - The property no longer has a heated spa pool and the pot belly is no longer in operation.

Adelaide city just over an hours drive away or you can catch a train from Gawler direct into Adelaide; Gawler is 10 mins from Lyndoch

From Main North Rd, turn off
(LEFT EXIT) and travel through the
township of Gawler, near the end of
the main street look for the sign
towards LYNDOCH. Turn RIGHT
and travel up the hill out of Gawler,
follow this road, (The Barossa Valley
Way) for approximately 12kms.
Go through Sandy Creek and after about 3kms you will come over a rise and enter the Beautiful Barossa. Once you pass the first vineyards you are close to Lyndoch. Enter the Village of LYNDOCH and come to the main intersection with the Lyndoch Hotel diagonally opposite. Turn RIGHT onto Gilbert Street at this intersection (GREEN Sign to Christabelle). Travel up hill along Gilbert Street, over the Railway Crossing, immediately after the Rail crossing is King Street on the RHS (GREEN Sign to Christabelle). Turn RIGHT into King Street, and travel approximately 150m along this road, up the hill. As you travel up the hill look for Rushell Road on the RHS. Christabelle sits on the corner of these 2 roads. Turn RIGHT into Rushell Road and look for the first driveway on the LHS, about 20m. This driveway/carport sits at the rear of Christabelle. Please park here.

Travel up hill along Gilbert Street, over the Railway Crossing. Foster Street is the 3rd on the RHS after the Railway crossing. Turn RIGHT into Foster Street, and travel approximately 100m along this Street, up the hill. As you reach the end of the Street you arrive at the King Street intersection. Daisybelle is the Cottage on the corner (LHS) at this intersection. Turn LEFT into King Street and look for the wide driveway on the LHS, about 10m. This driveway/garage sits at the rear of Daisybelle. Please park your vehicle in the garage or in the driveway adjacent.

Enter the Village of LYNDOCH and come to the main intersection with the Lyndoch Hotel diagonally opposite. Travel through this intersection, along Lyndoch Valley Road for about 500m. Jasmine?s Cottage is on the LHS, immediately before the open reserve next door. The cottage is the 11th dwelling on the LHS. Please turn into the driveway and park off the main street whenever possible for safety reasons.

Turn RIGHT into either the first or second driveway entry on the RHS. The covered carport is via the second driveway entry. Please park here, wherever possible.

Directions from Gawler
From Main North Rd, turn off (LEFT EXIT) and travel through the township of Gawler, near the end of the main street look for the sign towards LYNDOCH. Turn RIGHT and travel up the hill out of Gawler, follow this road, (The Barossa Valley Way) for approximately 12kms. Go through Sandy Creek and continue for approx. 1km, you will descend down a hill and come to a long ?S? bend.
Look for and Turn LEFT into Rosedale Road. Travel for approximately 2kms. Turn LEFT into McCullem Road. Travel along MCCullem Road for approx. 600m and Barossa Glen is the first property on the RHS. Turn RIGHT into this driveway and park adjacent to the Cottage.
