With 5 comfortable cabins situated on 25 acres of secluded bushland, Belford Cabins is located on Hermitage Road, Pokolbin, in Australia's Hunter Valley Wine Country. It’s just 2 hours from Sydney and 1 hour from Newcastle.

Our 3.5 star rated cabins provide fully self contained accommodation. Four cabins have two bedrooms and one cabin has four bedrooms making Belford Cabins an ideal place to stay for couples, family get-togethers or groups wishing to enjoy the best that the Hunter Valley Wine Country has to offer. All cabins have open plan living, dining & fully equipped kitchen. CD, DVD, TV, reverse cycle a/c, wood fired bbq.

You don't have far to go to find outstanding wines from our local cellar doors, fine restaurants and cafes, galleries, and activities such as golf, hot air balloon rides, bicycle rides, horse riding, carriage rides, helicopter tours, aerobatic joy-flights and more. Or, if you just want to take it easy we have our own pool, a games room, and nature walks where you can find abundant birdlife, kangaroos and possums. During late winter and early spring the bush comes alive with wild flowers.

From Sydney, follow the Freeway north. Take the Cessnock/Hunter Valley Vineyards exit and follow the signs to Cessnock. Follow the main street through Cessnock (Vincent Street) and at the traffic lights at the end, turn left and then right immediately (at the public swimming pool). This is Allandale Road. Once you have passed the Visitor Information Centre (on your left), take the next left into Broke Road (opposite De Bortoli). Follow this to the T junction with McDonalds Road. Turn left and then right straight away and you will be on Broke Road again. After about 5km, turn right just after Oakvale Winery into Hermitage Road. After about 4km you will see the Hunter Resort on your right. Belford Cabins is another 2km further, on your right.

Approaching from New England Highway via Singleton, travel south down the New England Highway you will pass through Scone, Muswellbrook and Singleton. Approximately 12km south of Singleton you will come to a section of highway with an overtaking lane. At the end of this section the road becomes dual carriageway. Start slowing down immediately as you need to take the next right turn into Hermitage Road (it's signed to Pokolbin & Vineyards). If you get to the end of the dual carriageway you've gone too far! Then proceed as per instructions below from Hermitage Road.

Approaching from New England Highway via Maitland (ie if you've come down the Pacific Highway). After crossing the Hunter River at Hexham on the Pacific Hwy turn right onto the New England Hwy. Proceed west bypassing Maitland and passing through Greta and Branxton. Approximately 3 km west of Branxton the road becomes dual carriageway. Travel along the dual carriageway for about 4 km and then turn left into Hermitage Road (it's signed to Pokolbin & Vineyards). If you get to the to the end of the dual carriageway you've gone too far! Proceed along Hermitage Road over the railway crossing and Belford Cabins is about 7km on the left.
