A Heritage Building built in 1895, situated right in the heart of the vibrant Fremantle. This recently renovated building offers quality budget accommodation with a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Being one of the only backpackers that caters for families to the lone traveller to Business and sporting Groups. Here at Backpackers Inn Freo we can cater for all. Backpackers Inn Freo takes pride in being a hostel that offers peace and relaxation for travellers that need time to relax and recharge.

Having the luxury of being positioned in the centre of Fremantle, Backpackers Inn is the perfect vantage point to explore the beautiful WA. Close to transport being the train or ferry or free cat bus. Or just take the time to relax in our spacious hostel weather finding your own quiet space or swapping a yarn over a beer in the courtyard. Backpackers Inn Freo has it all. So come on make a booking come join our family. You wont want to leave us.

We have a variety of rooms. We have 11 Double rooms, 1 Double ensuite, 9 Twin/Single rooms, two 4 Share Family rooms and one 5 Share Family room. We also offer a variety of Share dorms from 3 share to 8 share dorms. Mixed dorms and male and female dorms. Note all prices listed are Members prices. A additional fee may apply on arrival.
Office Hours are from 8am-12pm Noon 3pm-10pm. Office closed from 12pm-3pm daily. Office Hours extended during peak season. Inquiries can be made from 8am-10pm 7 days a week. Check in after hours please contact hostel prior to arrival for a security code.

Getting There
From Perth Airport - Taxi services will cost approximately $50-$60 takes 30 minutes - 1hr. By shuttle the cost is approximately $35 from Domestic airport and $45 International airport, shuttle companies can be contacted from airport upon arrival. By public transport to Perth City travelling by bus takes 30 minutes, then 30 minutes train to Fremantle.

Parking Info
Car parking is on street. Two hour parking from 9am - 5pm, three hour parking from 5pm - 1am. Alternatively, parking is available at the train station for $4 for 24 hours, 7 days.
