Overview
The Aussie Settler Motel is set in a quite location just minutes walk to all Queanbeyan has to offer and a further 12 min. drive on to Canberra's CBD. Only an 8 min. drive to Canberra Airport and 2 Mins. to Queanbeyan's Golf Course it is opposite Parks & Ovals and right next door to a full GYM, to which all of our guests can attend free of charge for the duration of your stay. There is also a Thai Massage Studio next to the gym, that offers discounts to guests. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away.

Our office hours are 0800-1000 & 1600-1800. Please ring if check in is required outside of these hours. This enables us to keep our room rates low. But rest assured, should you have any problems while you are here, we have a live-in Manager/Caretaker available from 1800-1000.

The Aussie Settler Motel offers unbeatable value for money, with all rooms extremely well appointed, featuring; designer beds, kitchenettes, including fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, tea & coffee making, LCD HDTV's, wireless broadband Internet, phone and separate en-suite. The motel also offers an outdoor pool, BBQ facilities, continental breakfast and DVD hire (charges apply).

We have 8 rooms located upstairs, and 2 rooms located downstairs. Please ring the motel before booking if you require a downstairs room, as these go very quickly.

Our designer beds are fitted with crisp white linen & feather down doonas, to keep you warm & toasty. We have also recently installed brand new reverse cycle air conditioners in every room.

Getting There
From Canberra Visitor Information Centre, travel south along Northbourne and Commonwealth Avenues towards Parliament House. Peel off to the left onto State Circle and take the fourth turn left onto Canberra Ave. Follow Canberra Ave for approximately 10 kilometres to Queanbeyan. Continue through the main street of Queanbeyan and cross the Queanbeyan River Bridge. Travel through 1 roundabout and take the next turn on the left. Aussie Settler is on the left hand side of the road (next to KFC).

From Sydney take the Federal Hwy exit south of Goulburn. Travel to Sutton, then take the Sutton Road and follow the signs to Queanbeyan. Turn right at the first roundabout (near Red Rooster). The Aussie Settler Motel is diagonally opposite the Caltex service station.

From the South Coast travel west along the Kings Hwy onto Bungendore road. Travel through the first roundabout (near Spotlight). The Aussie Settler Motel is diagonally opposite the Caltex service station.

From Melbourne turn right onto the Barton Highway exit north of Yass.Travel 51kms to Canberra, turn right onto Northbourne Ave to the City.Proceed as for the directions from Canberra Visitor Information Centre.
