Aurora Kakadu is situated 44 km west of Jabiru, in South Alligator near the entrance of the National Park - do not drive right through to Jabiru. The property is set amongst 10 hectares of tropical landscaped gardens in the wilderness of the world Heritage listed Kakadu National Park.

The hotel is unique in its ability to provide guests with an abundance of the park's wildlife immediately outside the guest rooms. Correllas, black cockatoos, magpie geese, brahminy kite, monitor lizards, a variety of tree frogs, quolls, wallabies, finches, kingfishers, and much more, can all be found within the grounds of the hotel.

The hotel is also a great base for fishing activities within Kakadu National Park. Based in close proximity to five pristine fishing billabongs and only 2km from the South Alligator River, we are an ideal relaxing destination after a long day on the water.

Getting There
220km from Darwin. Turn left from the Stuart Highway onto the Arnhem Highway. Aurora Kakadu is situated 2km from the South Alligator River, 43km before reaching the township of Jabiru.

There is a daily bus service from Darwin conducted by McCafferty/Greyhound.
