Overview
Astra Lodge offers our guest’s accommodation at Falls Creek to ensure your snow adventure is exactly the way skiing was meant to be. Ski in and out of a grand lodge with lounge bar, restaurant, a large open fire, big leather couches and ambient surrounds and retire to your own private ski accommodation at your whim.
Astra is located centrally in the Falls Creek village and is ski in - ski out during normal snow conditions. Family owned and operated for the last 10 years, Astra provides guests with comfortable classic elegance. Rates include cooked as well as continental breakfast (except for the penthouse which is fully self contained and 'Room Only' bookings).
Facilities include an award winning bar and restaurant with a beautiful lounge area and huge open fireplace. Our restaurant boasts a fine dining menu accompanied by a unique and extensive wine list. Astra Lodge has been dubbed the first vodka bar in the Australian Alps with its interesting range of over 70 fine vodkas.
Other attractions include an indoor heated swimming pool, spa & sauna and in house massage, & yoga. All Rooms are non-smoking.

Getting There
Falls Creek is a ski in-ski out village, so roads within the village are not cleared of snow and are closed to normal vehicles. Falls Creek Accommodation Transfer Transport is the easiest way to get from the carpark area to Astra, or pick up can be arranged in special circumstances. A fee is charged by the Accommodation Transfer Service to get you up to the lodge. The walk to the lodge with luggage is approx 500m uphill and manageable but can be very tiring.
Parking Info
Car parking during winter as directed by the Falls Creek Resort Management Staff. A Resort Entry Fee of $39.50 per night is charged for all vehicles in winter. During the Summer period you can drive directly to Astra.
