'Arcadia' is a 2-3 bedroom weatherboard cottage located in a leafy pocket of Katoomba just a moment's walk to Katoomba Cascades, Katoomba Falls, the Scenic Railway and Skyway, numerous bushwalks, and stunning views to the Three Sisters.

Tastefully furnished throughout, Arcadia offers the ideal base for couples or small groups to explore the Blue Mountains by day and relax in comfort during the evenings.

Arcadia has plenty of entertaining areas including a large north-facing rear deck with barbecue, a lounge room with TV and video, and a formal dining room. It also has a well-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, gas and electric heating, and laundry facilities.

Business Facilities
Arcadia Cottage has a formal dining room and kitchen, two bathrooms, laundry facilities, living area and two bedrooms, each of which sleep two (2) people.

The dining and kitchen areas are equipped with a formal dining table, gas cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Gas convection heating enables guests to dine in comfort. Outdoor seating and barbecue provided on the rear deck also allows guests to dine outside.

The main bedroom has a queen size bed with electric blanket. The second bedroom has a four-poster double bed with electric blanket and heater. Both bedrooms are close to the main bathroom, which has a shower bath. All towels and bed linen are provided.

The living room can be easily converted into a 3rd bedroom (at an extra cost of $60 per night) as it has a double sofa bed with TV, ensuite bathroom and gas log fire.

Getting There
Arcadia Cottage is located at 31 Kamillaroi Road, Katoomba. To get there:

By car

Turn off the Great Western Highway into Katoomba town centre. Follow the main street, Katoomba Street, down past the shops and down the hill towards Echo Point. When the hill flattens out before you get to Echo Point, turn right down Katoomba Falls Road and head towards the caravan park. Drive past the caravan park and the sign for the Scenic Railway. Continue along until the road becomes Kamillaroi Road. Look out on the right-hand side for number 31, Arcadia's yellow weatherboard cottage and a lane ahead leading up to the golf course. You can park in the lane near the front of the cottage or at the rear of the cottage.

By train

Alight at Katoomba and exit on the town centre side of the train station. A taxi stand is located by the entrance to the train station. You can either:

* take a five minute taxi ride to the cottage; or
* catch the shuttle bus, getting off at the caravan park, and walking five minutes to the cottage.
