Amazing Wollumbin Palms Retreat at Mt Warning - romance, relaxation & privacy in the heart of the rainforest at the base of magical Mt Warning in northern New South Wales (NSW).

If you are looking for something truly different, you will just love our 3 luxurious eco lodges which are 1/3km from each other on our 80 acre rainforest property, each one extremely unique in style and outlook and all fully self-contained with everything you could possibly need for your romantic break away or honeymoon - from spas on the verandah to wood-burning fires in winter and a fridge stocked with breakfast goodies at no extra charge!

'Water' is crafted around a pair of 300 yr old Balinese hand carved teak prayer rooms from a King's palace. There are many beautiful carvings and details to keep you wondering for hours. The spa is in a breezeway with a koi pond, fireplace, day bed & huge glass sliding doors. It overlooks it's own lake surrounded by palms and brimming with wildlife including platypus, turtles, waterdragons, kangaroos, koalas and huge bird varieties. If it's raining, you will gain a waterfall next to your bedroom which can be seen through the full glass walls. Absolutely stunning.

"Earth' is set on top of a hill looking straight to Mt Warning, has full glass front & rear walls, so is very light, but has a hobbit dwelling appearance. Again, many small creative details to discover, and exquisite fittings & fixtures. The spa is outside in a carved grotto with a beautiful garden. The bathroom is large and unique, with a goldfish tank in the toilet cystern. You will find yourself shaking your head in wonder when you look around this incredible lodge. This has been built with a tru sense of fun and romance.

And lastly 'Air', our beautiful rainforest lodge. Air has been fashioned from 8 different native rainforest timbers, the wood aroma is lovely. This lodge is 12 sided with self-supporting roof designed after a Mongolian yurt. It features a hand made shaped king bed to fit the shaped room, double shower heads, bidet, outside hot & cold shower in the forest, spa on balcony looking straight into the forest. There is romance abound in this lodge. Fantstic for honeymoons and special breaks away.

All lodges feature outside spas with fantastic views, showers inside and outside, kitchen and BBQ facilities, espresso coffee machines & a selection of teas, TV/DVD/CD/Austar, soft bath robes, afternoon tea on arrival and lots of wonderful small details to make your stay perfect, like hot bread delivered to your lodge each morning. All lodges have their own driveways and sensory lit carports.

This stunning property has won many prestigious awards - most notably 'Best Eco Accommodation'; 'Most Outstanding Property in NSW' and 'Best Unique Accommodation NSW'.

We now offer a full range of day spa treatments including facials, mud wraps, exfoliations and reflexology, massages including Kahuna, Hot Stone, Indian Head Massage, Holistic Pulsing & Foot Reflexology, and now yoga and meditation sessions and life readings in the privacy and comfort of your own lodge (new). True pampering.

Meals: we can provide evening meals for $110 per couple. There are also many local restaurants very close by. Each lodge has full kitchen facilities & BBQs also if you feel like cooking your own.

Swimming: we have 2 gorgeous swimming holes to chose from, glorious Mt Warning spring water to swim in. Your skin will feel amazing afterwards.

Getting There
We are 30 minutes from the Gold Coast through Tweed and via Murwillumbah, 85 mins from Brisbane, and just 40 mins from Byron Bay and other spectacular beaches. Follow the Pacific Hwy, take the Murwillumbah turnoff, and then follow the Tourism signs for Tourist Route 32. You won't miss us.
