The Albion Motel is located in Wesley Hill about 1800 metres from the centre of Castlemaine. Situated in the heart of the goldfields area, the Albion Hotel opened for the first time in December 1858. The Albion MOTEL was added in 2004. The Motel has seven rooms, situated at the rear of the Hotel. They are modern, stylish and individually designed with all the modern comforts. Quiet and peaceful with a bush setting. Rates are based on 2 adults in 1 bed.
Five of our rooms are styled as miner's cottages and are on the ground level with individual parking bays. Our two deluxe rooms offer undercover parking and exceptional views of the goldfields. Our King Room is wheelchair accessible.
All rooms have an en suite, split level air conditioning, electric blankets, HDTV/DVD, free WiFi and broadband. Our ground level rooms have private veranda's.

Our Bistro can be transformed for meetings, seminars and presentations, for up to 30 people. The lounge has a screen for power point presentation for up to 20 people. We offer WiFi and access to Broadband. Meals and refreshments can be organised as part of a package.
Coming from Melbourne: From Tullamarine airport, take the Calder Highway towards Bendigo. If you are using a GPS key in Castlemaine Vic Pyreness Highway,number 152.
Exit the Calder Highway at the Castlemaine turnoff. 450 meters after the "Welcome to Castlemaine" sign, on the left end side, is the Albion Hotel/Motel.
If you enter Castlemaine from ANY other direction, follow the signs for Melbourne, the ALBION will be on your RIGHT.
By train, you will arrive at the Castlemaine station. Please contact the Albion if you wish to organise transport, or you can get a taxi. The railway station is approx 2.2 K. from the Albion.
