Overview
Built in 1888 by the National Bank as the first large regional Bank in Western Australia, Albany Foreshore Guest House (AFGH) is located in the heart of Albany, overlooking the beautiful Princess Royal Harbour. AFGH offers guests a warm welcome to a variety of rooms, each dedicated to a famous person significant in the history of Albany.

There are five guest bedrooms in total, two with ensuites, two with shared bathrooms and one with a private bathroom. There is also a basic kitchenette area for guests to make tea and coffee as they please. Each room has a queen size bed, with two having an extra single bed. Guest rooms include a flat screen television with a huge range of DVDs to choose from, table and chairs, and some with inviting couches.

Enter the majestic downstairs dining room then meander through the heritage listed building and be astonished by the magnificent oil-on-canvas reproductions of world famous historical artworks.

With views of the harbour you will be able to relax and unwind in the charming atmosphere of this character building which is ideal for either business or leisure breaks.

A complimentary fully-cooked or continental breakfast is included in the room tariff, as is an evening toasted sandwich. Complimentary port and chocolates are also available on request.

Getting There
The TRANSWA buses from Perth (via Bunbury), Perth (via Albany Highway), and from Esperance, terminate at the Albany Visitor Centre, which is located only 100 metres from Albany Foreshore Guest House. A member of the AFGH staff will meet the bus on arrival to assist you with your luggage.

If arriving by car, coming from any direction, simply take the City Centre turn off the 1st roundabout. The second roundabout after that is located in the City Centre at the top of the main street, York Street. Travel south down York Street before turning left at the third roundabout onto Stirling Terrace (about 600 metres). Albany Foreshore Guest House will be approximately 100m on your left, just before Dylan’s café.

If arriving by air, a pick-up may be arranged if the request is made to the guesthouse at least 7 days in advance. Taxis and hire cars can be arranged upon your arrival into Albany Airport.

Albany Foreshore Guest House has secure on-site parking at the rear of the premises. Gates are locked at night.
