This c1900 cottage has been extensively renovated to retain the charm of a bygone era with modern-day comforts and can accommodate up to six guests.

Your comfort is assured as Acorn Cottage has outstanding facilities including genuine and quality antique furnishings, bathroom, with dual showers, as well as a large claw foot bath. It also features a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, ducted reverse cycle air conditioning, open fire in winter and laundry amenities.

The kitchen is fully equipped and generous provisions for cooked and continental breakfasts are provided. Exclusively yours for up to six guests, you can enjoy the private cottage gardens, BBQ and under cover outdoor setting.

The Barossa Valley is beautiful in all its seasons and Acorn Cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway or an escape with friends or family.

Exclusively yours for 2-4 guests, you can enjoy the private cottage gardens, cosy open fire in winter with its cedar surround, genuine antiques and the large heritage-style bathroom with its restored claw-foot bath. Reverse-cycle air-conditioning ensures year-round comfort.

Whether relaxing by the fire with a complimentary red in winter or sipping a cooling white under the shade of the old walnut tree in summer, Walnut cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway or an escape with friends.

Generous provisions for continental breakfasts, sourced from the Barossa Valley where possible, plunger coffee and a selection of teas to enjoy with home made biscuits or slice, Barossan chocolates, aged tawny port, flowers and a selection of seasonal herbs.

Getting There
If travelling from Adelaide we suggest the Northern Express way. This joins into the main highway into the Barossa Valley. Continue on until you come to the second turn off to Nuriootpa which is located on the right hand side of the highway. Stay on this road and you will go through traffic lights. The high school will be on the left hand side of the road. Continue on Penrice road all the way into Angaston. Turn left when you reach the T-junction, then take the first right on to Sturt Street, the third street on the right is French Street. Travel half way along French Street and Acorn Cottage is on the left hand side of the road. Walnut Cottage is on the right hand side of the road.
