Above Bored Bed and Breakfast is a unique 4 star rated 1927 Federation property in a quiet, yet centrally located, street.

The Master Bedroom features original art and 1927 features, air conditioning, gas log fire heating and paved off-street parking on the property verge, stained glass bedside lamps, French doors leading to private courtyard - a gorgeous room.

No smoking inside, but there is a nice area and outside setting for smokers.

The King Bed or Twin room features beds especially designed to suit all combination of guests. This rooms also features feather pillows, electric blankets, fluffy robes, safe and stained glass bedside lamps. Its bathroom is right across the hall for its exclusive use featuring gold taps and an amazing underwater fresco ceiling. This room is slightly cheaper than the master bedroom because of the hall bathroom but the room is just as big and just as lovely. Room enough for our good sized single trundle bed should you need to accommodate an extra person.

Children are most welcome at Above Bored Bed and Breakfast. Pets too, after prior arrangement.

We also have a spacious lounge/dining room for exclusive guest use, we offer individually catered breakfast ingredients for the Master and King bedrooms as well as a TV, DVD, VCR, sound system, gas coal fire, a lovely atmosphere and lots of art.

NEW ROOM: Just built to cater to guests wanting longer stays and with a 2 night minimum, this gorgeous Parisian styled Garden room suits guests who do not want to be disturbed, and longer staying guests. This reverse cycle air-conditioned room is set within its own cottage on the premises, and it comes with its own remote controlled lock up garage in the back garden, near the new gas BBQ, hammock and fish pond. This room is brand new, yet beautifully appointed to match the 1927 ambiance of the rest of the property, with its own en-suite, and kitchenette with 2 fridges and a dishwasher. The linen, fluffy robes slippers and amenities are of equally high standard as the two other rooms, but breakfast provisions for this room are only supplied for the first morning as it is designed to be more of a self contained experience. There is no daily room cleaning on this room, however it will receive a twice weekly clean and linen change for longer stays. This room also suits guests with pets as it faces on to the delightful back garden, and there is an outdoor setting for your exclusive use, with ashtray for smokers.

Located just five minutes north of Perth, four minutes north of all the nightlife you need in Northbridge and the fashion shoppers heaven of Harbourtown – this property is well located. Central, but in a beautiful quiet street, with bus access to the city every 5 minutes from both ends of the street.

There are many good restaurants within easy walking distance in North Perth itself, and just a short drive away there are many more in Mt Lawley. We have arranged gourmet delivery from major Perth restaurants, as well as the usual delivery array of local restaurants including gourmet pizza, and a small supermarket within walking distance that delivers free for orders over $25. There's also a bottle shop and video store close to the premises.

Getting There
Above Bored Bed and Breakfast is located at 14 Norham Street on the corner of Ruby Street (good to say this to taxis). We are near the junction of Fitzgerald and Walcott Streets, close to the Mt Lawley border. Fitzgerald Street is at one end and Charles Street at the other – easy to find.

From the Airport, take the Tonkin Highway north and turn off at Guilford Road. Briefly turn right into Lord Street under the bridge, then turn right again into Walcott Street. Travel through Mt Lawley tarfficlights on the corner of Beaufort Street until you get to the Fitzgerald Street lights where you turn left. Take the first right into Ruby Street and we are at the top of the hill, on the corner of Norham and Ruby Streets with a B&B sign out the front. Look for the clinker brick character home with double remote garaging.
