A 10-minute walk from Lake Jindabyne, the Aalberg Chalet is conveniently situated behind Nuggets Crossing Shopping Centre. It is a 15-minute drive from the ski tubes and a 30-minute drive from the Perisher and Thredbo ski fields. Hearty buffet breakfasts and evening meals are served daily in the casual dining environment of our licensed restaurant. After-meal drinks are available at the sports bar.
Aalberg Chalet offers well-appointed rooms with flat-screen digital 32’ TV/ DVD. Free Wi-Fi, it features a sauna, games room, licensed restaurant and off street parking. Our in floor heated rooms and common areas offer comfort throughout the day and night. In all our rooms we have installed new basic kitchenettes, cupboards, microwave, and tea/coffee making amenities. All rooms with attached bathrooms. Getting There
Driving from Sydney:
Follow the Hume Highway from Sydney then just south of Goulburn take the Federal Highway and travel south to Canberra. This section of the trip is on a mainly divided road. At Canberra follow the signs to the Monaro Highway to Cooma. The road then joins the Kosciuszko Rd that you follow through the town of Berridale and onto Jindabyne. Travelling through Jindabyne, turn left at the second roundabout onto the Barry Way, then take your next left onto Reedy Cuttings Rd and then the next left onto Kirwan Close. We are at the end of the Cul de Sac.
