Spacious, quiet and unique waterfront accommodation set among an extensive tropical garden in a great location: a mere 2-minute walk to Belongil beach and cafes and a 20-minute beach stroll to the heart of Byron Bay. A Beach House at Byron offers eco friendly quality, seclusion and comfort. All units feature cozy decor with high ceilings, hardwood floors, quality furnishings, handmade persian carpets and artwork by local artists.

Belongil is an exclusive Byron Bay location, cut off from the busy roads and day trippers yet close enough to all the action. Belongil Beach area is Byron’s best kept secret, situated next to a bird sanctuary. Sit in the lush garden, listen to the surf and enjoy the cool sea breeze from our delightful property and you will feel a thousand miles from stress.

We have FOUR styles of accommodation:

The COTTAGE: Spacious, self contained and cosy 2 bedroom with stunning water and hinterland views for 50km. Very large main bedroom with TV & DVD, desk and lounge. Both bedrooms front a large furnished balcony with amazing sunset views over the water. Downstairs a comfy lounge with TV/DVD/stereo, and a wood burning fireplace for the winter time. The Cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances and utensils needed for cooking your own meals along with a large dining table. Outdoor courtyard with direct access to the waterfront and gardens. Enjoy the view the cool sea breeze in summer or the slow combustion fire in winter.

The GAZEBO: 180 degree panoramic water, hinterland and mountain views from ABOVE water's edge. This unique hexagonal shaped room features high ceilings and beautiful craftsmanship as well as a furnished balcony; you are living in the view and can see and hear the fish jumping. Down the outside stairs is an open lounge, bathroom and WC. Includes: Stereo, small fridge, microwave, toaster, plates, cutlery, glasses.

The WING: Two Bedroom lush tropical garden outlook, one queen bedroom and one single bedroom down the hallway. Large bathroom with a luxurious big bath, separate shower & WC. Furnished deck fronting beautiful tropical gardens. Includes: small fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, plates, glasses and cutlery.

The STUDIO: A practical and well appointed room in a tropical garden setting with private furnished mini courtyard on one side and off street parking on the other side. High ceilings, timber floors and quality furnishings with en-suite bathroom. Includes: desk, stereo, bench with microwave & half size fridge, toaster, plates, glasses, cutlery.

Getting There
There are many hire cars taxis and mini buses available from Coolangatta or Ballina / Byron airports. We are located at Belongil Beach and that is 1km. along the beach north from Byron town centre.

Take the only Byron Bay turn off into Ewingsdale Road from Pacific Highway. Drive for 4km, pass over the bridge drive for 1km turn left at Kendall St. (Kendall becomes Border St.) Turn left at the Tree House cafe into Giaour st. Drive 50 meters we have a circular pebble driveway second last property on the right.

Park on the pebbles or undercover.

The STUDIO; is first building on the left and its entrance is the sliding doors FIRST TURN LEFT from the paved path.

The WING is part of the main building and its entrance is UP 3 VERY WIDE WOODEN STEPS then first sliding door on your left.

The COTTAGE; is part of the main building and its entrance is the door with the 'COTTAGE' sign over it past the entrance to the WING.

The GAZEBO; keep right along the paved path and walk about 50 meters until you see the green steps, go up the green steps.
